Dons' musings about O Fallon Mo : I can't even spell HTML

I can't even spell HTML

I need some help and I hope that some of you are up to the task.  I see all of the different posts and know that you know something that I don't.  I have heard about this thing called HTML and would like to know more about it and how to use it.  To be perfectly honest it scares me and I am not sure of what I am doing. :(

I have more questions than answers but I would settle for an answer to this question:  How do I set up a page using HTML.

Thank you for sharing.

You don't need HTML to do your blog. See the picture of the tree above your post page. Click on that and you can upload pictures from your computer into your post. You can also create something in Microsoft Word and just copy and paste it into your blog page.

Hi Don,
There are things you can do in HTML that you cannot do in WYSIWYG.  For example, change the size, style and size of font.  It is a little scary at first but the more you work with it, the easier it gets.  I posted a blog about it not too long ago.  It is not polite or accepted behavior to advertise ones' post on another member's post but since you asked "Using Large Font Made Simple".  Have fun with it.  I suggest printing out the post so you can refer to it easily.

HTML is simply an abreviation for hyper text markup language

You don't need to know that but every web site or page you look on the internet is in an html format.

Today's tools make it easy to convert to the language or code rather than type in it.  For example, I will open a word document -- type away and then save as a web page which converts it to an html format.

Html is a foreign language. Scott is right you don't need to know it.

Scott,

Thanks for the help and thank you for stopping by and I will be trying the saving as a web page.  It does sound much faster.
