Dons' musings about O Fallon Mo : To Vaca or Not That is the Question (Part 4 of 5).........

To Vaca or Not That is the Question (Part 4 of 5).........

To Vaca or Not That is the Question  (Part 4 of 5).........

If you haven't figured it out yet St. Charles County, MO and St. Louis City/County, MO offers more than just the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Rams and St. Louis Blues.  There are loads of parks, walking trails, bike trails, casinos and history too.  And there are other things to do too.  I have written about, Bed & Breakfast, which offer an alternative to the more traditional hotel/motel.  Then I wrote about visiting Missouri wineries that are close to home.  Then I wrote about fun things to do with children while on a stay-ca here, or on a vaca, in the greater St. Louis and St. Charles Missouri area.

If you are new to the area or maybe you are a home body like me and just don't get out, you may not know of places around the Greater St. Charles, MO area.  There is a wealth of things to do right here, as we have found out over the last three weeks, and they won't cost a boatload of money either!  In this series I hope to show what one could do within a short drive from home.  Not only for the adults but also things the kids will be able to do and enjoy.

So, there is only one thing that I have not talked about in this series and that would be places to enjoy a meal.  No I'm not talking about the normal fast food fare, even though they are not bad.  I am talking about places you may not have tried or you are looking for something new.  Believe me when I say that this is a very, very, very short list of places to enjoy.

So here is my very short list of eateries in the greater St. Charles County, MO., some of which I frequent and enjoy:

Don, great series & post today with what to do in the area. I remember well your bike trails and how I seemed to be "out in the country" and came riding around a hill to a view of the St. Louis city skyline right across the river.  It was memorable and I still talk about that trip today.  Favorite restaurants are always a great find to share with others and I will note them for my next trip out.

Don, this is an eclectic list of restaurants around St. Louis. Sadly, I have only eaten at two of them. Which one is your favorite?
