Dons' musings about O Fallon Mo : Monday Motivation………..I have a RIGHT!

Monday Motivation………..I have a RIGHT!

Monday Motivation………..I have a RIGHT!

"The right to do something does not mean that doing it is right."

~ William Safire ~

I have often wondered where the saying, “Just do it and then ask for forgiveness later”, came from.  I always try doing the right thing and more often I do the right thing.

Then there are times that I let me get the best of me and because I can do something I will lower my head like a bull and plow right through something because I have a right to.

It is during those times of doing something just because I have a right to that the worst things happen.  If I had been just a bit more cautious maybe a little bit more caring or concerned things may have gone a lot differently.

Maybe next time I won’t hang up on that agent because I had a right to.

I think you are on to something here.  Perhaps Congress ought to get a copy of this post.

Don - Never be careful!  Just be you.  As long as your intentions are good (and we know they are) things will come out right.

This happens to us all. We learn from our mistakes, and in so doing move to a higher level of understanding.  Thanks for sharing this!

Great quote.  Very true, just because we can doesn not mean we should

Very applicable in today's tense real estate market. Follow the "Golden Rule" and everything will be fine.
