Some September Fun Things To Do in New Town...

The community of New Town is an exciting place and is located in St. Charles.  On top of that it is really a lifestyle to beat all lifestyles.  It is like getting into a time machine and going back in time.  If you have never been to New Town or it has been awhile since you have been there, then now is the time to go back out and check this community out.

Here are some fun events taking place in New Town in September:

Karaoke Night at Domain Street Wine Bar

Date:  Wednesday, September 10th & 24th

Time:  8:30pm - 10:30pm

Live Music At Domain Street Wine Bar

Date:  Every Thursday

Time:  7pm

Bluegrass Festival

Date:  Saturday, September 13th

Time:  6pm

Place:  Amptheater

Admission:  Free

Chautauqua

Date:  Saturday, September 13th

Time:  10am - 6pm

Place:  Various locations throughout town

Urban Expressions Fashion Show

Date:  Thursday, September 18th

Time:  6pm - 8pm

Place New Town Chapel

Admission:  $35/ticket; sign up at www.streetscapemag.com

5K Run and the Blast!  St. Charles Chamber Family Event

Date:  Saturday, September 27th

Time:  3pm - 9pm

Place:  Amphitheater & Various locations throughout town

The events are preliminary and subject to change, due to inclement weather, etc.  Check www.newtownatstcharles.com for updated information.

If you are into reading they also have a book club and the September reading selection is "The Shack" by William P. Young. 

In addition to all of the above fun things to do this community is centered around the downtown area and so that means that it is just a short distance to everything, parks, lakes, the Chapel, the business that have their offices their as well as the restaurants, post office and town hall.
