Do you have a DREAM?
Or better yet have you ever had a dream of the major kind? Sorta like Olympic proportion size dream? I bring this up because dreams in life are what will keep us going and help to keep us on track, as long as we don't turn loose of them. It is when we turn loose of our dreams that we loose sight of where we are going or what we want to do in life and are easily sidetracked. Depending on what the dream is it can give direction and purpose to our lives too.
Take Raj Bhavsar for instance. While watching the Olympics last night in the middle of all of the other events I started to get real interested in the men's gymnastics events. Don't ask me why, maybe it was because the swimming events were over. Oh well I digress.
Raj Bhavsar is a member of this years men's gymnastic team. His dream was to be on the 2004 team and didn't make it. He also had a dream to be on the 2008 team and originally didn't make it he was an alternate this year. Due to two members of the team getting hurt they had to call up two alternates and Raj was one of the. His dream came true. As the alternate he still had to stay in shape and practice in the event he got the call to perform, the call came and the practice paid off. Last night the men's team was not given a chance to even get a medal but, with outstanding performances by the whole team, Team USA Men's Gymnastics won a bronze medal. It took the whole team to pull this off and everyone came through.
So, what is the point of this post: Don't ever loose sight of your dreams, keep working towards them and good will happen. Don't let somebody or circumstance; take your eyes off of your dream or goal in life.
